Khartoum, Aug. 20 (SUNA)- The Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Khidir, announced that Khartoum State has agreed with the Iranian Econ Company to establish the new Omdurman Water Station at Abu-Si'id area through a funding of 54 million dollars to produce 200,000 cubic meters of water per day
Following his return from Iran, accompanied by the Minister of Planning and Urban Planning in the state, the Wali said that the Iranian company has earlier conducted a study on the water station's project
The Wali has held in Tehran talks with the Iranian Exports Bank which welcomed the cooperation with Khartoum State to fund implementation of development and services
