 Khartoum, August 18 (SUNA) - The Presidential Advisor and official of Darfur file, Dr. Ghazi Salahuddin, received at his office Wednesday the US envoy to Sudan, Scott Gration, currently on a visit to Sudan, and reviewed issues pertinent to the referendum for South Sudan and the new strategy announced by the state on Darfur issue

Dr. Salahuddin said in a press statement that the American side has some ideas concerning on the humanitarian, development and security work

The Presidential Advisor expressed the government plan to discuss Darfur new strategy with all the concerned circles with in the coming two weeks toward getting support from the international community to implement the strategy

He said the two sides exchanged views on the development projects, the internally displaced people and the security the situation, especially for the civilians, referring to the government welcome to any constructive remarks in this regard
