 Khartoum, August 18 (SUNA) - Assistant of the President of the Republic, Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie, has affirmed the government commitment to hold the referendum of South Sudan in its fixed time as it represents one of the clauses of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA)

This came when Dr. Nafie met at the Republican Palace, Wednesday the British ambassador to Sudan. He expressed his appreciation of progress of relations between the two countries in all domains

Meanwhile, the British Ambassador affirmed his country's keenness to boost the peace process in Sudan and holding of the referendum successfully
