President of the Republic, Field Marshal
Omer Al-Bashir, has called for adopting all the measures to pave the
way for investment in the country.
Addressing Tuesday the meeting of the Higher Council for Investments,
President Al-Bashir affirmed the government keenness to go ahead in
implementation of development projects.
The meeting was attended by the Vice – President of the Republic, Ali
Osman Mohamed Taha, a number of federal ministers, Walis and governors
of northern and southern states, economic specialists and deputies of
the National Assembly.
President Al-Bashir stressed that the Higher Investment Council will
play a bigger role in the coming stage and will attract more
investments in Sudan.
The Minister of Investment, Dr. George Boreng, addressed the meeting
affirming the government keenness to make Sudan as an area which is
attracting to investments.
The Minister of Finance, Ali Mahmoud Abdul-Rasoul, asserted the
continuity of the comprehensive reform process as well as the
commitment to realize economic and social development.
