 Khartoum, Aug. 13 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, is due to address on Tuesday at the Friendship Hall the inaugural sitting of the two-day Meetings of the Higher Council for Investments

The meetings will focus on discussing issues pertinent to providing an atmosphere that is convenient to attraction of investment in the country, enactment of legislations and adoption of measures for encouraging investments, revising the existing legislations that are pertinent to investment and removing any obstacles facing the investment in the country

The meetings will review working papers on the performance of the Higher Council for Investment, general investment policies, customs and taxes, horizons of investment in Sudan

The meetings will be attended by a number of Walis (governors) of northern and southern states
