Khartoum, August 14 (SUNA) - The Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources has called on the citizens living on the banks of the River Nile and the low areas to be vigilant amid rising water levels of the Nile

The High Committee for the Flood has announced that reports coming from the main stations indicate the Nile level will witness remarkable rise from Damazine to Atbara while the Nile's levels from Atbara to Merowe Dam and Dongola will be stable

The Rapporteur of the Committee said the committee reviewed the water situation in the Ethiopian highlands along with the Blue Nile, the Nile River and Atbara River
