Khartoum, Aug. 12 (SUNA) - The Secretary of the Greater Bahral-Ghazal Secretariat at the National Congress (NC), Bishop Gabriel Rorek has condemned the arrest of Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) to the National Congress (NC) Chairman in Bahral-Ghazal State, William Lual, and confiscation of the plan NC for promotion of the voluntary unity option

Rorek regarded the SPLM act as a declaration of war

He denounced in a press statement the SPLM attempt to silence the voices calling for the national unity, urging the citizens of south Sudan to vote for the continuity of the national unity in the coming referendum in next January

The NC leading figure called on the governors of the southern states to provide freedom for the political forces to promote for unity and to enable the citizens in south Sudan to practice their rights in the referendum in accordance with the directives of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), which stipulated organization of the referendum in free and fair atmosphere
