Khartoum, August 12 (SUNA) - The government announced that it will take preventive and decisive measures to provide security for all the citizens in Darfur depending on the international partners, led by the United Nations African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID), especially that the security arrangements is a main responsibility for any government
The new strategy for realization of the comprehensive peace and Security in Darfur, which was presented recently by the government, asserted the necessity of implementation of steps, including carrying out of a detailed and comprehensive security strategy, to realize peace, security and rehabilitation in cooperation with the elected local administrative and ithrough full consultation with all the concerned circles in Darfur
The strategy also includes determination and implementation preventive arrangements to avoid any lack of security and to realize stability, besides reaching of security measures with the neighbouring countries which are similar to the Sudanese - Chadian security agreement to halt trafficking of arms and to curb the movements of the armed groups
The strategy included protection of civilians and the displaced people, holding negotiations for cease-fire and absorbing of the signatories of peace agreements with the government in the Sudanese Armed Forces
