Khartoum, Aug. 9 (SUNA) - The rate of inflation in July dropped to 13% from 15.6% in last June

A statement issued by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) explained that the inflation rate in most of the states of Sudan reduced during July. It dropped in 13 states of north Sudan except Kassala and Sennar

The inflation for the food and beverage group registered a rate of 16.1% in July instead of 18.9% in June, bread and cereals group dropped to 14.4% in July from 18.1% in June, meat from 25.6% in June to 23% in July and the diary, cheese and eggs registered rate of inflation of 8.5% in July instead of 13% in last June
