Khartoum, Aug. 8 (SUNA)- The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Rahamatalla Mohamed Osman, received Monday noon Chairman of the joint UN and African Union Mission for Darfur (UNAMID), Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, and discussed progress of the cooperation and coordination between Sudan government and UNAMID

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for maximum coordination for proper implementation of the mandate given to the UNAMID and removal of all aspects of the violation of the rule of law and putting an end to any criminal acts in and outside the displaced people camps

He stressed that the government will hesitate in adopting all the measures required for preserving the rule of law

He asserted the government seriousness to collect all the illegal arms and making the possession of weapons confined to the regular forces only
