Khartoum, July 25 (SUNA) - The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has reaffirmed the long-standing and principled position of the OIC rejecting the decision of the so-called International Criminal Court against the symbol of Sudan's sovereignty

Prof. Ihsanoglu expressed deep disappointment over the decision of the ICC , pointing out that the ICC's new move would jeopardize peace efforts aimed at fostering the political democratization of the country and the resolution of the conflict in Darfur through the Doha peace talks as well as the referendum on self-determination for Southern Sudan
