Khartoum July 22.2010 (SUNA) The government strongly condemned the stance of the United States which called on the Chadian government to explain its position on its failure to arrest the President of the Republic of the Sudan as well as its decline to make the President of Sudan to surrender himself to the so-called The International Criminal Court (ICC)
A statement issued Thursday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has praised the position of the Chadian government and its President, Idris Deby, as well as the friendly people of Chad who received President Al-Bashir warmly in a brave stand that reflected the keenness of President Deby to retain the neighbourly and brotherly relations, besides his commitment to the decisions of the African Union in refusing to deal with the so-called the International Criminal Court
The statement called on the free peoples and governments to stand courageously in the face of arrogance and political hegemony of the United States, asserting Sudan government's right to respond to the position of the U.S. administration to preserve the dignity, pride and sovereignty of Sudan and the dignity of the president and leaderships of Sudan.
