The quarterly strategy include clear indicators for the developing and caring for orphan children as a religious, moral and human obligation, emanating from our spiritual and social principles
Goods deeds motives in the Sudanese society is related to all spheres specially orphans adoption, but the phenomenon of social change and the emergence of disorders in the social structure of has forced the ministry of social welfare and woman and child affair in 2009 to make national policies for orphans adoption whose numbers are increasing till it reached 2.5 million orphans
The policies has been discussed in the meeting held between the state minister at the ministry of social welfarre , Adil Awad Sulman and the organizations network working in the spheres of orphans adoption
The ministries policies also pointed to the efforts exerted by the state to care for children including the orphans national policies
Meanwhile president of the Republic , Marshal Omar Albashir has issued a direction exempting the orphans from the school fees and provide to them free medical services, besides giving them the priority in the housing plans and exempting them from the fees of the official documents and including them in the health insurance umrella
The Zakaat Chamber adopt 54 000 orphans and built houses for the orphans families in Kasala and Khartoum state beside the efforts exerted in the project of the orphans cloths and the school bag and costume. The policies encourages the voluntry organization's efforts in Sudan and consider it as playing a significan role in this sphere and their numbers amount to 100 voluntry organizations
Also the national policies encourages the adoption of all the orphans in Sudan, beside encouraging all the society to react with the issue of orphans adoption and make it a priority besides reminding the extended families by their role in this sphere
The health sector is endeavoring to introduce all the orphans in the health insurance umbrella and ban child labour in hard jobs and works and all the works that causes health hazards.
