Khartoum, June 21 (SUNA)- The Sudanese and Egyptian parties Monday held a meeting at the premises of the Ministry of Irrigation which was co-chaired by the Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources, Kamal Ali Mohamed, and the Egyptian Minister of Water Resources, Mohamed Nasr-Eddin Allam The two sides agreed on coordination and cooperation between them on the future of the Nile Basin Initiative in the coming stage A statement issued by the end of the meeting stated that the Sudanese and Egyptian parties agreed to continue measuring the levels, exchange hydrological
information in the coming period as well as conducting wise management on floods in the coming two months for the interest of the two countries The statement indicated that the two parties deliberated about the means to enhance the cooperation with the Nile Basin countries for the interest of all parties and the data and expectations of floods in the current year and the situation of the rainfall at the Ethiopian and Equatorial Plateaus
