Khartoum, June 16 (SUNA) - The Minister of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Luka Piong, has affirmed that the new ministers will be faithful soldiers for the implementation of the new government's programme to realize the desires and aspirations of the Sudanese people and the fundamental objectives of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) Dr. Piong called in a press statement after taking
oath of office at the Republican Palace Wednesday for work to creating strong relations between the north and south of Sudan by focusing on the programmes that will consolidate this relation, referring to the task of the government in the completion of the remaining clauses of the CPA He said that the responsibility of the new government is the creation of a Sudan of which we will be proud, stressing the importance of improving the performance of the government institutions and implementing the agreed upon procedures to render unity as the attractive choice The minister also affirmed the importance of boosting the efforts for reaching a peaceful solution for Darfur issue and giving much concern to the issues of the citizens and their socio-economic stability
