This is represented in implementing many basic services projects in the spheres of water supply , roads, health, education, social development and the economic sphere according to the comprehensive national strategic directives and the five years development plan. To continue this development movement , Dr. Abdul Rahman Al- Khidir , wali of Khartoum state has made a promising plan and started its implementation , and began by implementing the administrative auditing and reviewing He assured the necessity of these auditing and reviewing operation before the legislative Council of Khartoum state yesterday while addressing its first session He explained that the administrative auditing aimed at reducing the governance cost and the
administrative shadow , beside, reviewing the structures to focus on the basic services , where the reformation resulted in canceling the ministries of basic infrastructures environment , archaeology and the local governance , public services and to transfer their specializations to other established institutions The reformation also included the establishment of the ministry of economic development and investment which will work to improve the states economies and attracts and encourages the investment by providing work opportunities , combating unemployment and making Khartoum state a production center which contributes in providing food security for the country and enriching the national economy by providing hard currencies Alkhidir also affirmed that the establishment of a directive and endowment ministry aimed at enlightening the society through organized programmes to assimilate and understand the authentic Sudanese values and principles and to focus on the traditional role of reviving the beliefs and the worshipping place It also work for enhancing the society's will to make changes through the efforts of the community based organizations and the different media means in addition to transferring the specializations of the civilized conduct institution to this ministry, provided that this institution should carry on the cleaning and ornamenting work, beside the works of the environmental health , the garbage collecting and its circulation. He also explained that the establishment of a ministry for water services and environment affirms the role played by the state in this sphere and the establishment of this ministry will support the state's efforts and create positive principles in addition to the establishment of an environmental council He added that the upgrading of the peace council to a higher council for peace comes in response to the call made by the president of the republic provided that it is to be under the auspices of a constitutional character at the status of a ministry and his duties should be to support the peace efforts and unity and to strengthen the communication with the other states in south Sudan and to distribute the values of peace in Khartoum state Regarding the establishment of a ministry for archaeology affiliating to the ministry of culture and information and financed by the ministry of economic development, Alkhidir said this affirms the necessity of supporting the experience of the local governance to follow up the services and to make the locality the base in this sphere, beside developing the environment and financing the schools and develop the sewerage surface system In regard to providing public services, the walli confirmed the efforts exerted by the executive institutions to improve the services provided to the public as a basic right in addition to the necessity of realizing social changes with its development dimensions and eliminating poverty and provide housing beside solving the educational problems
