Khartoum, June 13 (SUNA) - The US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Johnnie Carson, accompanied by the US envoy to Sudan, Scott Gration, the US Undersecretary of the State Department for Administrative Affairs and a number of officials would arrive in Sudan on June 23 The visit comes in the context of the inauguration of the new premises of the US Embassy in Khartoum
SUNA learned that the delegation, which will meet a number of senior government officials will visit Juba to inspect the establishment of the US Consulate in the South Meanwhile, the US envoy to Sudan, Scott Gration, will hold meetings with senior government officials to review issues of mutual concern
